ROLE DESCRIPTION: Responsible for developing and maintaining new and established sales channels, maintaining a good working relationship with dealers and direct employees, developing relationships with large medical centers in the territory and engaging with the Samsung NeuroLogica DBA Boston Imaging’s internal department for territory development.
This position will play a vital role in the success of Samsung NeuroLogica DBA Boston Imaging Ultrasound – Radiology product line and will be responsible for acquiring and retaining the best dealers and/or direct sales representatives for the market.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned Evaluate opportunities, geography, and install base to create a specific go-to-market strategy for the assigned zone including dealer and direct sales alignment, and sub-segment coverage Identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders in your zone Create and implement a strategic plan for boosting market share Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources.
Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts for all segments Proactively lead a joint planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive dealer partnership Demonstrate the ability to manage relationships in a matrixed organization Demonstrate the ability to pivot and find new growth opportunities within assigned zone Be a passionate dealer and customer advocate within by proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating dealer and customer needs on an ongoing basis.
Sell through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales contracts and resources Manage channel conflict with other sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement Lead solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company, partner, and third-party personnel Ensure partner compliance with partner agreements and drive adoption of company programs among assigned partners Seamlessly coordinate with direct and indirect sales, and cross-functional resources, including Clinical, Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Finance, and Service resources to satisfy company, dealer, and customer needs Prepare and deliver presentations to customer and internal audiences with 2-200+ attendees Communicate channel activities and results and provide accurate sales reports, forecasts, and budgeting to Senior Management Ensure accurate and timely updates to forecast and funnel in CRM Maintain Weekly activity report rigor Conduct monthly Pipeline and PSI reviews Recognize development needs and coach to improve performance; create opportunities and provide support for career advancement; establish priorities with clear goals and responsibilities to get results from people and exceed expectation EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE BA/BS in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or other related discipline preferred 10+ years of experience in Med-Tech capital equipment sales required, with Ultrasound experience preferred Experience in 3rd party vendor/contractor management Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment Must be able to handle more than one project and task in unison Ability to act in an autonomous role with little, if any, management direction Budget, expense, and resource management experience required COMPUTER & ANALYTIC SKILLS You must be comfortable with technology, be able to present using a laptop computer and be able demonstrate proficiency with MS Office package, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; as well as Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome, Salesforce.
com Familiarity with clinical and economic outcome data, reimbursement, and managed care policies and procedures is highly desirable Must be able to assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations to management PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds Often required to Push/pull weights of over 100 pounds when setting up/dismantling trade shows and/or maneuvering Company equipment into place for display Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear Must be able to sit and/or drive for long periods of time when travelling Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8-15 hours) for multiple days Regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather).
Interaction with x-ray devices; for this reason strict safety and tracking programs are in place, requiring the utilization of dose monitoring equipment either full time or as necessitated by situation The noise level in the work environment is occasionally very loud.
