We're excited to expand our team with a Sales Analyst.
Come join us! About the role: This role will be primarily focused on providing analytical support to the Sales Planning Team including the Sales Planning Managers.
This position will utilize data to analyze performance, identify insights, and provide recommendations across key channels and customers.
The Sales Planning Analyst will also be responsible for updating existing reports and presentations as well as creating new ones.
The role will eventually be expected to improve existing deliverables as well as developing and implementing new approaches to analyzing the business.
To be successful, the person in this role will need to be a creative self-starter who is detailed orientated with a strong desire to succeed.
Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to: Update, analyze, and recap weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for across customers / channels.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance forecasting models, incorporating market trends, seasonality, and promotional activities to improve accuracy and support informed decision-making.
Acts as communication conduit between the customer, sales, and demand planning.
Collaborate with the supply chain and inventory management teams to ensure seamless execution of item transitions.
Create, design, and leverage data and reporting to build SOP presentations for key stakeholders.
Evaluate and recommend inventory optimization strategies, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory to enhance operational efficiency.
Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests delivering timely and accurate insights to support strategic decision-making.
Provide comprehensive and clear updates on the status of shipments, outlining the reasons for delays, proposed solutions, and revised delivery timelines.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent is preferred.
2+ years of experience in category management, product development or planning at a CPG company (or applicable experience).
Highly proficient in Excel and experience with PowerPoint.
Demonstrated experience in working with large data sets.
Ability to analyze data and identify insights and provide recommendations.
Experience in creating tools for managing data and identify insights.
Self-Starter who is creative, yet has strong attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Experience using MS Office, MS Outlook and other MS applications.

This role will require some time in the office.
Travel will be approximately 10%.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
The expected base salary range for this position is $72,000 to $90,000.
The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget.
