This could include, but is not limited to: Retail Strategy Intern: LA - Summer 2024 WBDGCP North America Marketing Intern: LA - Summer 2024 Licensing Toy Category Lead Intern: LA - Summer 2024 Consumer Products, Publishing Category: LA - Summer 2024 Your Role Accountabilities Duties could include: Learn first-hand about the licensed publishing business for one of the leading licensing and retail merchandising organizations in the world.
Learn and assist in how to pitch new products, programs, and initiatives to retailers Track competitive studio activity across digital retail landscape related to New Release, Franchise, and Catalog.
Analyze and present consolidated findings to broader team.
Assist with Digital Marketing Deliverables (i.
e.
Email Newsletters, Social Assets, etc.
) Review Licensee Marketing Submissions against Franchise Guidelines for Licensees and Retail Partners Learn negotiating strategies in toy contracts with prospect licensees Learn how to manages licensees in partnership with Creative in the Product Line Plans Working with many of the cross-functional teams in Consumer Products including Sales, Category, and Franchise Management Supporting teams with retail programs and partnerships Social and digital initiatives Development of marketing materials and presentation decks Helping teams review & understand data-driven insights Conducting research to compile and present findings Assisting in development and implementation of a social media strategy Qualifications & Experience Essentials needed for the positions that are similar across the above roles Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.
g.
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Superior organization and communication skills Ability to work on a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment Understanding of how to conduct research & summarize findings Knowledge or awareness of franchise products from our popular company brands Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required) Must be a rising Junior, Senior or Graduate Student (18 years or older) Must be in academic good standing (3.

Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage.
Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired.
Relocation is not provided.
Interviewing will take place from February through mid-April.
