Position Summary
The Urology Account Manager is a key position within the sales organization.
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, Urology, this person is responsible for generating new revenue for the company, focusing solely on Urology.
Job Responsibilities
Metrics and performance are expected to be at 100% to quota in new revenue goals while also achieving YOY market growth.
Conduct an average of 8-10 sales called daily.
Sales calls are field based and should be prescheduled as often as possible.
Maintain a consistent pipeline of new accounts.
Conduct meaningful sales calls with each referral by building relationships, uncovering needs, creating solutions, and asking for business.
Pre and post call reviews are also to be conducted.
All activity for every sales call is to be logged in Salesforce on a daily basis.
Data logs should include but not be limited to: individual spoken to, office location and contact information, items discussed, products or services presented, competitive information, action or follow up required, and next sales call date.
Focus core business activities within a territory’s top accounts, focusing on Quarterly Business Accounts.
Every account must be qualified and effectively position Byram’s value proposition.
Collaborate with Byram’s manufacturing partners in the field to generate leads and sources of new opportunity.
Adhere to the Code of Conduct and Compliance Program to ensure all legal and ethical requirements and regulations are met.
Collaborate with colleagues in Operations, Reimbursement, and Managed Care to develop and execute pull through initiatives for all referral sources within their defined territory.
Maintain a high level of knowledge on Byram service, products, and managed care contracts.
Account Managers must be able to properly articulate and educate this information to any healthcare professional or referral source.
Territory Business Plans are to be developed and maintained up to date in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
All emails and voicemails should be returned within the same day.
Maintain a calendar showing routing plans in order to maximize the number of calls per day to be achieved.
Expense reports are to be completed and submitted weekly.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
3-5 years sales experience, healthcare and/or service sales preferred
Strong communication skills required
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, juggling multiple items at once
Ability to handle private and confidential information securely
Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel within the defined geographical region
Ability to travel up to 90%
