Control *Reports To:* Various Departments (See Above) *SUMMARY* Drives gasoline, electric or propane powered industrial truck or manipulator equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, jaws or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties in assigned department.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

In performing functions, duties or tasks, employees are required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of Company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations.
All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable Company policies and procedures.
In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of Company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representatives.
* Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, and transports load to designated area.
Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.
Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules as required.
Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
*QUALIFICATIONS *To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

*EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
*LANGUAGE SKILLS* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before managers or other Company employees.
*MATHEMATICAL SKILLS* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
*REASONING ABILITY* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
*OTHER QUALIFICATIONS* Must possess a Company certified forklift driving authorization.
