Job Description Accountable for achieving the regional sales and profitability goals through the generation of new business and further development of existing accounts.
Provides direction and leadership to the field sales staff while responsible for the customer satisfaction and market share within the regional geography.
The ideal candidate will live near a major airport along the west coast of the United States.
Territory is from Seattle to San Diego and east to the Rockies which includes WY, CO, UT, NM and AZ.
Performing SWAT analysis of region, competitive review and strategic plan development.
Develops and implements aggressive sales plans for a particular region - monitors progress toward meeting the plan’s requirements including the individual representative’s contribution.
Increase sales volume through sales efforts and by leading Sales Reps in the field, managing strategic account plans and sales execution.
Reviews market analysis to determine customer recommendations.
Is accountable for customer satisfaction and overall regional performance.
Ensures customer service goals are met and exceeded through on-going contact with key accounts.
Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information – identify trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or 5-7 years of prior sales management experience with demonstrated success in leading a group of sales people to goal achievement.
Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Outlook / Word / Excel / PowerPoint.
Functional knowledge of CRM (Customer Resource Management) system for use to manage sales force activities, customer contacts and follow-up.
Leadership Skills - demonstrated ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills through team building and advanced coaching skills.
