About being our Project Manager Civil Engineer - Land/Site Development
As a Project Manager Civil Engineer with our Land Development team in our downtown Los Angeles office, this is an exciting opportunity to be an integral member of a dynamic team that has successfully delivered many of the region's most high-profile projects in land development design focused on multi-family, mixed-use, commercial , civil/municipal, commercial, industrial, hospitality, institutional, park and recreation, water, sewer, storm drain and small-scale roadway projects while working in a team-oriented environment.
The right candidate will leverage the expertise of an established team that has worked for clients that are World Renowned Architects and Developers, and the City of LA.
In this key role, the Civil Engineer Project Manager will utilize their design expertise in providing overall management of existing projects, including staffing, budgeting, financial planning, scheduling and cost estimating.
You will play a key role in leading business development activities, along with development of staff to support growth and expansion goals.
Responsibility Highlights for our Project Manager Civil Engineer - Land/Site Development
Leading business development efforts and pursuit planning
Providing technical oversight and review of existing project activities
Design experience focused on grading, utilities, low impact development, drainage and public improvements
Managing staff, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating
Reviewing client service needs and contracts
Acting as client advocate while maintaining client satisfaction
Assisting with entitlement process and permit processing for development projects and coordinating with land use consultants
Minimum Qualifications to be our Project Manager Civil Engineer - Land/Site Development
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Professional registration (PE license) as a Civil Engineer in the state of California
Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a project manager in civil engineering design with private development, facilities, infrastructure and public works design projects
Ability to manage multi-discipline engineering projects, clients and staff; set fees and negotiate contracts including: prepare and deliver presentations; write proposals; respond to RFPs and RFQs, and project invoicing
Prior experience delivering projects for private developers in Southern California and surrounding area municipalities, agencies and institutions
Expert technical knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures

A competitive salary! The expected range for this position is $120,000-$160,000 /salary depending on experience
Compensation may be adjusted for well qualified candidates
