*Role Description* Throne is seeking a talented and experienced service technician who will be responsible for performing a variety of repairs that address electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or construction related issues.
As the lead technician in Los Angeles, you will provide on-the-job support to other technicians, prioritize daily tasks, and assist with training & onboarding of new technicians.
This role requires a strong background in plumbing, electrical work, construction basics, and remodeling, along with specific abilities such as reading electrical schematics and testing electrical components.
*What You’ll Do* * Identify, troubleshoot, and repair Thrones on-site as issues arise.
* Prioritize and assign tasks to yourself, and other field service technicians.
* Utilize your expertise in plumbing to repair or replace components such as pipes, fittings, faucets, and toilets as needed.
* Apply your knowledge of electrical systems to diagnose and resolve problems related to wiring, circuits, switches, and control panels.
* Interpret electrical schematics and diagrams to guide installations, repairs, and upgrades of electrical components.
* Conduct voltage, continuity, and current tests on electrical components to ensure optimal performance and safety.
* Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to provide feedback on product improvements and enhancements based on field experience.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of repairs, replacements, and inspections.
*What You’ll Bring* *Required* * A minimum of 3 years of experience in plumbing, electrical work, construction basics, or remodeling.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
* Demonstrated ability to use tools and equipment properly and safely.
* Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
* Knowledge of testing procedures for electrical components, including voltage, continuity, and current tests.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to work on weekends or outside of regular business hours as needed.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
*Nice to have* * Certification or license in plumbing, electrical work, or a related field.
* California OSHA-compliant forklift certification * Experience working with smart technologies or IoT (Internet of Things) devices.
* Prior experience in the portable sanitation industry.
