Key Responsibilities: 1.
Device Inspection: - Conduct visual inspections of backflow prevention devices to check for visible signs of damage, corrosion, or wear.
- Ensure that the devices are installed correctly and are in proper working condition.

Testing: - Perform regular tests on backflow prevention devices to ensure they meet specified performance standards.
- Utilize specialized testing equipment to measure pressure differentials and ensure the devices function as intended.
- Record and document test results accurately.

Maintenance: - Clean, repair, or replace components of backflow prevention devices as necessary to ensure their proper functioning.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent device malfunction.

Qualifications: - Certification: Must hold a valid certification as a Backflow Prevention Device Tester for LA, Orange or Ventura Counties - Knowledge: A strong understanding of plumbing systems and backflow prevention devices.

- Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
