As a Federal Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the planning, implementation, and completion of various federal construction projects.
Your primary focus will be to ensure that all projects are delivered within the established budget, timeline, and quality standards while adhering to all relevant federal regulations and guidelines.
You will be accountable for managing project resources, coordinating with various stakeholders, and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
*Key Responsibilities:*
Specific tasks for the PM include but are not limited to the following:
* Review QC Plan
* Review AP Plan
* Review Plans and Specs as well as shop drawings
* Review RFP documents
* Review and scrub the submittal register
* PM to have intimate knowledge of the project, ensure QCs, SSHOs, PCs, and PEs are following the proper processes, and create, review, and submit cost-loaded P6 construction schedule
* Construction- Mobilization to the site
* setup QC meeting day with QCM
* meeting with all subcontractors
* scheduling and attending weekly subcontract meetings
* MEETING with Clients
* ensuring budgets are being followed
* ensure on-time, quality, and on-budget delivery of projects
* Complete invoicing, identify, cost, and negotiate changed conditions.
*Education/Experience:*
* Minimum 10 years in the construction industry
* P6 construction schedule experience
* Must have past experience on DoD/NAVFAC/USACE projects
* Must have vertical and horizontal construction experience
* Must have experience on project values of greater than 3 million dollars
* Must have proficient computer skills
* Must be able to deal with tough construction environment
* Must understand the RFI process
* Must understand and abide by EM385-1-1 and OSHA standard
* PMP desired
