*TIELLO* has partnered with a highly successful *Top 25 ENR General Contractor* in the *Greater Los Angeles County area *on their search for a *Tunnel Engineer* with direct experience in *Tunnel Construction, Heavy Civil, and Horizontal Construction*.
*Job Title:* *Tunnel Engineer* *(3+ yrs exp)*
*Project Types: Tunnels, Tunneling, Heavy Civil, Transportation*
*Key Responsibilities:*
* The ideal candidate has a background overseeing subcontractors and a focus in field supervision
* Direct experience with Quality Control, and assisting the Quality Control Manager
* Proven ability to handle all field engineer responsibilities
* This role will engage across all projects including review/production of design and construction documents, implementation of QA/QC during construction through review of submittals, RFIs, and review/inspection/testing of ongoing work in the field.
* Collaborate closely with internal and external team members including consultants, A/E professionals, owners, and trade partners while continually striving to elevate the construction process through creating remarkable experiences for all involved.
*Skills & Qualification:*
* 3+ years of Field Engineer and/or Tunneling Construction Experience for a reputable General Contractor or Specialty Contractor

in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering/Architecture or recognized industry credentials
* 3+ years of experience on Tunneling, Heavy Civil, Transportation Projects
