You will be responsible for electrical engineering including design, analysis, calculations and specifications for low and medium voltage power distribution systems; emergency power, generators and UPS standby systems; lighting systems and controls; fire alarm systems; communication systems; and HVAC controls for an individual facility/attraction, area development, land, or theme park project, domestic and international.
What You Will Do
Generally responsible for electrical engineering design and calculation tasks for a single project under senior staff supervision
Prepare designs and analysis in support of construction contract document production
Ensure technical quality and conformance to department standards and procedures
Become familiar with electrical sections of Disney master specifications
Under senior staff supervision, provide construction administration field support, review of shop drawings and submittals, on-site visits and inspections, and provide field reports
Required Qualifications & Skills
2 or more years of work experience in electrical engineering, including the production and use of contract documents for commercial or industrial projects
Knowledge of electrical load and energy calculations and basic electrical engineering calculations
General knowledge of the electrical engineering discipline, including industry practices, construction methods and materials, codes, current technology and the preparation and use of contract documents in all phases of design and construction
Proficient in the use of 3D CAD technology.
General knowledge of analytical software for electrical engineering design, short circuit, circuit breaker coordination, and arc-flash hazard analysis
Preferred Qualifications
Active membership in IEEE, IES, or IAEI is desirable
Proficiency in Revit and working knowledge of AutoCAD
Engineer-In-Training certification, if not already licensed as a professional engineer
Education
Graduate of an accredited engineering school with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
General knowledge of the electrical engineering curriculum, with concentration in the areas of 3-phase power distribution and short circuit analysis

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $92,800.
00-$124,400.
00 per year.
The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
