Construction Project Manager - Security Systems

As the Security Project Manager at TRL Systems, Inc you will take charge of installation projects under your purview.
You will start by developing a comprehensive project plan that guides team members to successfully complete the project within scope and budget.
Your goal will be to efficiently manage costs, project billing, and WIP (work in progress) adjustments.
In addition to keeping consistent client correspondence and meetings to provide project status.
You will be performing your best if you can guide troubleshooting and programming of security systems, perform project contract reviews, keep a stock of project materials, manage budget and cost, and keep your team excelling.
Essential Functions: • Project Management: develop a full-scale project plan that communicates project expectations, deadlines and budget.
Submit change orders, make WIP adjustments, and submit billing.
Review and approve timesheets and expenses.
• Project Installation: conduct programming and/or troubleshooting of CCTV, access control or intrusion systems.
• Close Outs: manage the final project inspection prior to inspection with the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to ensure project is according to code, client contract, and quality expectations.
• Leadership: conduct performance reviews to grow and develop team.
Develop onboarding plans for new and existing team members.
• Product Knowledge: Axis, Hanwha, Lenel, Honeywell, AMAG, Avigilon, Genetec, etc.
Position Requirements: • 8+ years installing security systems in a commercial environment • 5+ years in a leadership/project management role • High school diploma (or equivalent) • Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
We also conduct pre-employment drug screening in accordance with Federal Contractor regulations and background checks in accordance with State and local regulations.
Physical Demands & Work Environment: • Repetitive substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers • Walk, drive, bend, stoop, hear, and speak • Drive for 2+ hours in a work shift/day • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, under all temperature variations.
