POSITION:
We are seeking a full-time person with Construction Accounting experience to join our accounting team.
The accounting team is responsible for preparing all financial transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry, verification, reconciliations, and general office tasks.
They work with our project management team on all job-specific related accounting.
Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently are required.
This position will report directly to our President/General Manager.
Works with operations & service departments to complete tasks as needed.
Experience with quikbooks is required!!
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
(This position includes handling of sensitive material that requires discretion)
• Job Start and Contracts Administration
• Prelim Notices, Conditional and Unconditional Lien Releases
• Manages Job List
• Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable; including Phone Calls and Collections
• Accounting Ledger Journal Entries

Run reports such as P&L, Job Costing, Ageing, etc.

• Credit Card Expenditure Logging and Tracking
• Filing/Organizing and Upkeep of Files
• Monitoring Subcontractor Agreements and Compliance
• Back up multi line phone
• Other Misc.
Accounting/Office Duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Min.
5 Years’ Experience in Construction Accounting / Degree in Accounting is a plus
• \*\*Quickbooks Knowledge and accounting programs\*\*
• Able to Pass Background and Drug Screen
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ADOBE
• Internet Savvy; Google and Related Software (Searches, Calendar, Gmail, Google Groups, Drive, Docs, Etc.
)
• Ability to Quickly Learn New Software Programs and Processes
• Excellent Verbal/Written Communication Skills and Good Command of English Language
• Prioritizes Well, Shows Energy, and Understands the Importance of the Work Product.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $1,400.
