*INVENTORY ANALYST*
Status: Hourly, Full Time, non-exempt
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Overtime and weekends as needed
*Job summary*
The Inventory Analyst is focused on many aspects including , allocating inventory, compiling inventory reports, documenting inventory discrepancies, analyze and process inventory obsolescence, analyze inventory statistics, count inventory (cycle counts, blind counts, and more), quality inspections, transfers and movement, from receiving materials, to production consumption, consignment and final shipment of goods.
The Inventory Analyst works closely with other departments to manage inventory levels, maintain accurate ERP data, and facilitate a fluid and comprehensive flow of operations.

* *RF Scanning* - Prior experience using a handheld rf scanner and rf smart software.
* *Forklift-* Stand up and sit-down forklift (preferred) *DUTIES* * *Data Analysis* - Analyze historical data to make decisions about inventory management.
* *Replenishment Planning* - Develop replenishment strategies to maintain stock at optimal levels.
* *Inventory Accuracy* - Implement and oversee inventory counting procedures, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile any discrepancies.
Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
* *ABC Analysis* - Identify ABC items based on importance, value, and demand.
* *Obsolete and Excess Inventory Management *- Identify and address obsolete or excess inventory through disposition strategies, such as returns, disposal, or donations.
* *Documentation *- Maintain detailed records of inventory levels, transactions, and any issues or discrepancies.
Keep track of stock movements and adjustments.
* *Inventory Reporting* - Generate and share regular reports with management, highlighting key performance indicators.
* *Process Improvement -* Continuously identify areas for process improvement in inventory management and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
* *NetSuite Proficiency* - Use inventory management software effectively.
May also involve suggesting system enhancements.
* *Root Cause Analysis *- Investigate the root causes of inventory discrepancies, stock outs, or excess inventory and work to prevent future occurrences.
* *Compliance and Regulations* - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as safety standards, Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
* *Cost Reduction* - Identify cost-saving opportunities through inventory optimization, including reducing obsolescence or shrinkage.
* *Customer Service Support* - Work closely with the customer service team.
* *Standard Procedures *- Build standard procedures related to inventory control.
* Follow company rules, policies and procedures.
* Ensure timely and accurate updates by working with all Departments throughout the day.
* Answer all emails and chats efficiently and effectively.
* Ability to work overtime and weekends when operational requirements necessitate.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements: * 2 years of Stand Up and Sit Down Forklift experience preferred * Minimum 3 years inventory control experience * Strong understanding & experience with inventory root cause analysis * Perform cycle counts and reconciliations in a Warehouse Management Software.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reports and advanced formulas.
* Great time-management, Critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office, NetSuite, and advanced computer skills * Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize own work to meet deadlines.
* Possess good judgement and attention to detail * Can adapt quickly to change and new business strategies and processes.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Must be able to be on your feet and sit/stand for extended periods of time.
