The Detox Ambassador is the head and heart of The Detox Market customers’ in-store experience.
It is The Detox Ambassador’s responsibility to ensure our guests feel welcome in our home and leave our stores feeling empowered by the expert knowledge and exemplary service they receive.
Our mission is to educate all those who enter our stores in green beauty and wellness, as well as learn from our visitors by listening to their needs and committing to finding the best solution.
Along with our ongoing education initiatives and brand trainings, we will constantly be evolving and strengthening our own knowledge in green beauty and wellness.
* Greeting customers and make them feel welcomed
* Helping customers find the right product for their needs
* Ringing up sales, returns and processing exchanges
* Informing customers of our return policy, loyalty program, and any special discounts or GWP that is going on
* Keeping up with all training and educational material on our products and how to use them
* Keeping up on store standards such as keeping the store clean and tidy, maintaining testers, dusting, cleaning and watering plants
* Restocking shop floor as merchandise is sold, strictly using the “First in First Out” policy to ensure our natural products do not expire.
* Maintaining correct inventory numbers through good practice, cycle counting, and physical inventories.
* Receiving and returning shipments from the warehouse
* Assisting with visual merchandising projects.
* Working as a team towards all store goals.
* Working store events outside of regular store hours when needed
* Attending brand trainings outside of regular store hours
* Answering phone calls and emails kindly and promptly.
* Assist with any other projects as requested by management
*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities *
* The ability in helping customers with their skin care and beauty needs
* Computer skills
* Knowledge on inventory best practices
*Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Additional Requirements *
* Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
* A lot of educating customers
* May need to carry boxes up to 25 lbs.
* Need to work most weekends
* Standing for long periods of time
