SATURDAY SKIN SNR MARKETING MANAGER
Saturday Skin is a K-beauty inspired skincare brand that uses a proprietary 7 peptide mix to create effective and clean skincare products.
We aim to Make Every Day a Saturday with superfoods and skincare actives to reveal your natural glow! The heritage hails from South Korea (Cha Biotech\*) where our HQs have an extensive scientific background in women’s health and wellness.
Currently, the brand is distributed globally through reliable retail partners such as Nordstrom, Amazon, Soko Glam, Sephora Global and our own E-commerce Site.
Position Overview: The Role of our Snr Marketing Manager entails the development and spearheading the implementation of our marketing initiatives for Saturday Skin with specialties in digital marketing and paid advertising.
They work closely with the Brand Director to meet growth targets and make valuable contributions to the company’s profits through the creation and execution of a robust brand playbook and cross-channel marketing calendar.
As the marketing manager, they will take ownership of insight-driven creative and marketing briefs, and lead go-to 360 market plans for new launches, social media campaigns, and paid digital activations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and implement 360 digital and social marketing strategies for Saturday Skin, focusing on brand awareness growth and increasing market share.
Identify clear audience strategies and customer retention tactics to evolve and grow the Saturday Skin customer base Build and revise the annual marketing budget (promotional spending).
Reconcile actual to budget spending monthly to make sure that spending is on target.
Track marketing and brand expenses, reconcile monthly expenses against budget allocation, & submit invoices Create and lead the execution of our Marketing programs and campaigns such as New Product launches, Global Retail expansions, and Key Promotional Events encompassing Social Media, Digital Marketing, PR and Media Support, Events, and Education levers.
Manage strategic marketing partnerships with brands, influencers, and beauty editors.
Coordinate all gifting, agreements & communication.
Create and manage our digital and paid advertising strategies and communication with 3 rd party agencies.
Collaborate on community management, experiential marketing programs, and the planning of nationwide events, surveys, and activations to bring the brand to life and generate buzz Supervise and develop the marketing team to increase brand awareness and KPIs, overseeing various levels of experience across brand, creative, social media, and influencer marketing team members.
Establish Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) with the direct team to ensure timely management of initiatives in relation to the proposed marketing calendar and campaigns.
Possess strong leadership skills to build strong working relationships with the Marketing and Ops team.
Communicate regularly to outline market-specific needs, and provide feedback on launches including category analysis with specific needs (i.
e.
, shades, claims, name, formula, competition, trends, gaps/opportunities in the product portfolio, etc.
).
Lead by example to create a healthy, encouraging, respectful working environment, and build team cooperation.
Work to train and develop team members individually, providing regular performance feedback and annual performance appraisals.
Qualifications & Skills REQUIRED: Bachelor s degree, MBA preferred.
5+ years of Marketing experience in the beauty industry with a specialty in Digital Marketing and K- Beauty.
Must possess strong analytical skills, good oral and written presentation skills, as well as excellent computer skills, including Excel, and PowerPoint.
Exhibit a keen ability to be proactive as well as handle a multitude of projects at one time.
Should be a strategic thinker, an influencer, a consensus builder, and an excellent team player.
A proven and successful people-management track record.
Experience being a North American local affiliate market with product development teams abroad.
Working conditions include Hybrid if preferred 70~ 80% office work, and 20~30% remote.
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $120,000 in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
