About the Role & Program
The Onyx Collective Social Media team is looking for an intern to help support marketing our campaigns for originals and the brand.
Onyx Collective, a content brand within Hulu Originals and formed under Disney Entertainment, is designed to curate a slate of premium programming by creators of color and underrepresented voices.
Onyx Collective ushers an exciting slate of content for a global audience! This includes critically acclaimed debut project Questlove’s Oscar®-winning documentary “Summer of Soul (…Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised)”; “The Hair Tales,” from executive producers Tracee Ellis Ross, Michaela angela Davis and Oprah Winfrey; legal drama “Reasonable Doubt,” from executive producers Raamla Mohamed, Kerry Washington and Larry Wilmore; award-winning documentary, “Aftershock,” from directors Paula Eiselt and Tonya Lewis Lee, and comedy series “Unprisoned,” executive produced and starring Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo.
What You Will Do
Our intern will be exposed to the day-to-day responsibilities of working in the entertainment marketing field, gain understanding of social media campaign building, project management, internal/external communication, and will receive continuous mentorship from dedicated team members.
The intern will engage in brainstorm discussions and will be encouraged to bring forth new creative social media ideas to the team.
The intern will also be responsible for conducting social media research and gathering creative social media trends, making suggestions as to how they may be relevantly incorporated into campaigns.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
At least 18 years of age
May not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
Possess unrestricted work authorization
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024- January 2025
Availability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship, most hours being in person, with possible days working from home.
Preferably 9am-6pm PT, Monday - Friday.
The pay rate for this internship in California is $21.
70 per hour.
