The Production Coordinator conducts project management for the Creative and Production team, and closely manages photography and video operations.
The incumbent supports a high-demand, high-performing department, ensuring projects run smoothly, deadlines are met, and colleagues are supported in producing high quality, branded content for strategic communications, marketing, advertising, social media, and digital platforms.
The incumbent administers an integrated photography and video production calendar and reports on project status and overall traffic at team meetings.
Position Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities Coordinate department's front-facing DAM.
Catalog, post, tag, and organize photo and video assets.
Track user traffic and report on download metrics.
Coordinate and maintain the university's media release program.
Communicate policies, capture releases, and maintain the archive.
Support photography and video shoots with signage and other tactics to mitigate risk.
Arrange photography and video archive for long-term accessibility.
Perform team administrative duties, such as purchasing, invoicing and fulfillment, and coordinating craft services on set.
Customer Service Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards colleagues and clients.
Excellent critical thinking skills and a customer-service driven attitude Assist with digital access and delivery of photography and video resources.
Technical Skills Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, and drivers.
Ability to use the Microsoft suite for calendaring, email, and correspondence.
Ability to use various software tracking and project management tools.
Familiarity with Adobe products preferred.

Requisite Qualifications Typically a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in photography, video production, marketing, communications or equivalent experience.
Three years of experience in a creative studio environment.
Experience with Digital Asset Management systems preferred.
Ability to work effectively and independently with internal and external constituencies and with professionals of varied disciplines to accomplish tasks and projects.
Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on photography and video editing and asset management programs.
Experience with photo, video, and design file formats.
Must possess solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to oversee a high-volume of assets and tasks related to multiple clients simultaneously.
Ability to meet tight deadlines with competing priorities Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, and service-oriented environment.
Willing and able to adjust to changing demands and shifting priorities.
Ability to work individually and within a team.
