*ABOUT PATH* Since its foundation in 1984, PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) has pioneered bold and effective approaches to assist people experiencing homelessness.
PATH operates services throughout California, connecting our clients to a comprehensive continuum of homelessness prevention, street outreach, employment preparation and placement assistance, individualized case management, supportive services, interim housing, and permanent supportive housing.
*ABOUT THE JOB* As part of the Philanthropy & Community Affairs team, the Community Affairs Manager develops and implements effective strategies to engage new volunteers and supporters, with a particular focus on supporting interim and permanent supportive housing sites.
The manager is responsible for overseeing, developing, and expanding volunteer programs to ensure impactful engagement across PATH's services, including organizing large group service projects in partnership with corporate entities.
Position Responsibilities: * Develop and implement effective strategies, in collaboration with the Associate Director of Community Affairs, to engage new volunteers and supporters, with a specific focus on supporting our interim and permanent supportive housing sites.
* Manage, assess, develop, and expand volunteer programs to ensure efficient and impactful volunteer engagement across PATH's programs and services.
Plan and execute large group service projects, including with PATH’s corporate partners.
* Maintain volunteer management system for effective tracking of volunteer engagement, and leverage volunteer management software to streamline volunteer onboarding, communications, and scheduling.
* Oversee in-kind program management, including soliciting, organizing, and sorting in-kind gift donations to meet the needs of individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
* Lead volunteer program management, including volunteer onboarding, training, scheduling, and recognition.

* Serve as liaison of Community Affairs department to various program managers and site staff to relay concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure high quality communication and collaboration with site teams *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* * Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
* Three years of experience in a related field.
*MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS* Regardless of qualifications, candidates must: * Have employment eligibility verification * Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training * Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire: Tuberculosis Test Background Screening Drug Test *DRIVING* Driving is an *essential function* of this position.
To meet the employment requirements for this role, all candidates must: * Have reliable transportation * A valid driver’s license * Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties * The ability to qualify for PATH's insurance coverage *EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY* Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.
