*JOB DESCRIPTION* *Position Title:* Digital Marketing Specialist (*Remote Position*) *Salary:* $70,000 - $75,000, eligible for up to $80,000 a year with bonus.
*Division/Department:* CareerSmart® Learning & ISYS Case Management - Sales & Marketing *Reports to:* Vice President/COO CareerSmart Learning® & Vice President/Case Management & Workplace Safety *FLSA Status:* Exempt \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ *General Summary:* Primarily responsible for driving qualified customer traffic to the CareerSmart Learning®, CreateSmart Design? and ISYS Solutions® websites and generating incoming sales opportunities through various forms of digital advertising, and promotion, including but not limited to content creation, search engine optimization, online ads, and social media management.
Manage and ensure the healthy maintenance of ?Pay-Per-Click? ads through Google AdWords and Google Analytics.
Develop creative digital ad campaigns, including social media and email marketing, as well as internet marketing and remarketing/retargeting efforts, and adjust those campaigns based on independent analysis of performance metrics.
Responsible for maintaining and promoting brand integrity and reputation across all marketing platforms.
Consult and collaborate with others to improve website search engine optimization (SEO) and optimization of the company websites and website user experience (UX).
*Essential Job Functions:* This is a bifurcated position intended to focus 80% on the company?s education division digital marketing priorities and 20% on the company?s case management digital marketing priorities laid out below.
These duties shall be performed directly and in collaboration with marketing personnel (ie Director of Business Development), eLearning Design Supervisor, Education Programming Manager, LMS & Digital Resources Administrator, and VP of Operations * Websites SEO: * Make decisions for search engine optimization and optimization of the websites to increase traffic and collaborate with others to deploy changes to improve user experience based on analysis of analytics and understanding of the markets and services.
* Make recommendations to and coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure website content is current, modern, and dynamic, and promotes SEO.
* Create copy for product pages, landing pages, blog posts on website to enhance SEO.
* Search Engine Marketing: * Proactively set up and maintain ?Pay-Per-Click? (PPC) ad campaigns through mediums such as Google AdWords and Google Analytics, identifying opportunities to create new (or remove/pause existing) ads and ad campaigns based on research and analysis related to search volume, conversion rates, cost per conversion and other factors.
* Proactively adjustment and modify to online ad campaigns to optimize return on investment.
* Increase exposure of both division brands to expand audience reach, increase website traffic, promote conversions (which may be a direct purchase for CSL, referral for ISYS, and/or lead generation for either), and generate new leads for follow-up marketing.
* Social Media: * Manage social media channels by creating daily and weekly social media posts to relevant platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and respond to or forward relevant customer feedback for a subject matter expert to respond to; also monitor social strategies and engagement and refine efforts as needed.
* Identify methods to promote brand integrity and reputation through collection of internet and social media rankings comments and reviews.
* Proactively solicit customer reviews & ratings on a routine basis.
* Increase exposure, followers, shares and general engagement level of each division brand?s social media page across platforms for the purpose of branding and creating a sense of community among customers and employees that ultimately generates leads/sales.
* Engage in online networking on company?s behalf to leverage those connections and promote brand recognition by industry influencers, where applicable.
* Coordinate with VP and manager of business development to create and maintain a robust editorial calendar for marketing campaigns, scheduling out emails, social media and blog posts, and other promotions.
* Email Marketing: * Ensure customer contact information is added to the marketing system in the appropriate list category on a monthly basis to ensure accurate lists of customer information for remarketing.
* Using independent judgment and analysis of prior analytics and customer behaviors to develop an email marketing schedule and oversee deployment of successful email marketing campaigns.
* Accessing and safeguarding confidential customer information * Filtering data to provide routine and ad hoc reports to be used for sales and/or marketing.
* Manage email marketing campaigns by developing a schedule, content/copy, creative theme, and format, and conduct independent analysis and report on related analytics to the VP/COO.
* Content Creation: * Develop directly and collaborate with others to create content for website SEO, blog posts, social media posts, PPC ads, and/or other syndication on behalf of company and promoting company directly and indirectly, consistent with brand.
General: * Study and research CSLs culture, products, services and customers to develop a complete understanding of the business in order to better develop and manage marketing campaigns and foster more effective customer outreach * Use critical thinking and discretionary judgment to develop digital marketing strategies and modify tactics based on analysis of performance.
* Conduct all functions with a proactive approach and positive attitude.
* Communicate in a polite, courteous, enthusiastic and professional manner with colleagues and customers.
* Perform independent analysis of performance of these efforts and impact on sales and adjust advertising campaigns or promotional efforts accordingly.
* Make recommendations, offer creative ideas, and be responsive to business needs and ad hoc requests for deploying digital marketing strategies.
* Maintain organized electronic files.
* Conduct or participate in marketing and strategic meetings.
* Provide administrative, professional, and creative project management.
* Oversee all duties in a manner that is aligned with the mission, vision and values of both ISYS and CareerSmart Learning divisions.
* Provide executive assistance to VP/COO and other managers as directed by the VP/COO.
* Travel occasionally as needed.
Including flight/overnight travel and/or daytime travel by car to assist in in-person marketing efforts, such as conferences, trade shows and other live/in-person or virtual marketing events (acting as an ambassador to the brand and promoting company products).
* Available during regular business hours, but discretion to work primarily offsite, and maintain close contact with the VP/COO and colleagues via video conferencing, phone and other available communication methods, when not required onsite for in-person meetings.
* Other duties as they arise, as directed by the VP/COOs.
*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* * Knowledge and understanding of company products/services and policies and procedures.
* Specialized training in or Certified Google AdWords Partner or AdWords Manager.
* Strong computer skills/literacy, and website maintenance/design proficiency.
* Excellent creative skills (visual, artistic, digital, writing, presenting).
* Ability to work independently, draw conclusions based on data, and exercise oversight over areas of responsibility.
* Specialized Training in Social Media Management and marketing.
* Ability to think critically and exercise discerning and discretionary judgement to facilitate marketing strategies.
* Ability to juggle multiple areas of complex responsibility.
* Knowledge of search engine optimization principles and practices.
* Knowledge of website user experience (UX) principles and practices.
* Demonstrated ability to work responsibly and independently and manage time according to strategic priorities.

*Required Education and Experience:* * Experience with current versions of Windows operating systems and MS Office.
Specifically: Excel, Word, and Power Point.
* Experience leading professional conversations and professional written/email communications/interactions.
* At least 2 years experience in digital marketing with positive outcomes.
* Experience with Google AdWords and Google Analytics * Experience with (digital marketing): internet, social media, and email marketing.
* Bachelor?s Degree or technical training in creative design or digital advertising preferred, but not required.
* Experience managing multiple mission critical projects at once.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.
