Overview
This is the first Ad Ops position at Blitz.
As Ad Ops Manager on the Revenue Operations team, this person will play a key role in building and scaling an effective ad operations system, improving Blitz's ad experience and leading day-to-day operations for both programmatic and direct sales channels.
This also includes monitoring revenue health, evaluation and testing of new monetization and technology partners, and growing relationships with existing partners.
This position requires you to be on-site Monday through Thursday in our Los Angeles office with optional WFH on Fridays.
What You'll Do
Serve as the functional point of contact & subject matter expert across our ad operations, systems, and programmatic practices
Act as a strategic partner to key internal stakeholders (Product, Rev Ops, Marketing, Data Science) and external vendors to facilitate, manage and prioritize demands that help meet and exceed revenue targets & department goals
Troubleshoot issues related to campaign delivery, yield performance, and other ads related issues
Evaluate and propose testing of new solutions using data driven insights
Provide requested reporting and optimization recommendations to ensure successful campaign execution
Operate seamlessly within in a complex organization across multiple business units
What It Takes To Be Successful
3+ years of digital advertising operations experience
Strong understanding of the programmatic media ecosystem (including ad servers, ad networks, DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, trading desks, etc.
)
Must have hands-on experience and proficiency in ad ops & programmatic with a familiarity with ad management technologies & BI tools (Ad Verification, OMS, SQL, Tableau)
Big, bold thinking with a track record of developing creative/innovative solutions
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams across all levels including senior management
Excellent communicator and collaborator; able to work with both technical and non-technical teams

Annual salary range: $85-105k USD + bonus
