Overview: PLEASE NOTE: This position is remote, however, a primary residence in California is required prior to starting at CHLA.

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Digital Content and Experience Strategist, under the direction of the VP, Chief Marketing and Communication Officer, and the Director, Digital Marketing, the Digital Marketing team will innovate and improve digital channels and products and deliver them to patients, families, consumers and clinicians and other end-users through multiple digital channels.
The Digital Content Strategist plays a pivotal role in shaping the hospital's digital narrative.
This individual will spearhead the development and management of compelling, SEO-optimized content for CHLA's website, directly influencing how the hospital's services and expertise are presented to the public.
Working in close alignment with the Strategic Marketing and Communications teams, the Digital Content Strategist will delve into high-impact website sections including, but not limited to, doctor profiles, service line content, locations, and detailed descriptions of areas of care, conditions, and treatments.
The role demands a deep understanding of digital content trends, audience engagement strategies, and the ability to craft narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
By focusing on SEO-first content creation, the strategist ensures CHLA's online presence is not only informative and engaging but also reaches a wide audience through improved search engine rankings.
The Digital Content Strategist’s vision and execution will significantly contribute to CHLA's reputation as a leader in children's healthcare, making this role crucial in driving the hospital's digital marketing initiatives forward.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Required: • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital content creation and strategy.
• Proven experience in SEO and web content optimization.
• Familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing tools.
• Must love writing and creating content.
Preferred: • Health care experience preferred.
Education/Licensure/Certification: Required: • Bachelor's degree in digital design, business, marketing, engineering, computer science, or related field.
