Jensen Meat, a well-established local ground beef patty manufacturer, is seeking an Experienced Food Service Regional Outside Sales Specialist to be a vital part of our team.
This individual Must reside within territory servicing.

Position Overview: As an Experienced Regional Outside Sales Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our food service business, engaging with distributors, restaurants, hotels, clubs, and entertainment venues.
Your role will involve everything from acquiring new customers to educating them about our exceptional products.
You will have the opportunity to showcase your sales skills, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to the growth of our brand.
Minimum Qualifications: • 3-years Food Service / Food Manufacturing Experience • 3-years of outside sales experience • Proven customer service, negotiation, and sales skills • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas • Reside within driving distance of one of the following airports: ABQ, PHX, LAS, or DEN Requirements: • Excellent communication and people skills • Utilize customer service and negotiation skills to close sales • Travel approximately two weeks per month (minimum 50%) for customer visits, prospecting, training, and collaboration with distributors and brokers.
• Work around food, including raw meat products, and engage in cooking and serving food at customer visits, events, and presentations.
• Demonstrate self-motivation, trustworthiness, and accountability while working independently.
• Experience in delivery of profitable sales • Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly • Physically handle heavy loads over short and middle distances, such as food shows, trade show load-ins, and customer visits.
• Proficient at time management and managing multi-state territory • Ability to speak in front of a group with exceptional communication presentation skills Responsibilities: • Engage in sales, business development, and marketing for our food service sector, serving distributors, restaurants, hotels, clubs, and entertainment venues.
Tasks include customer acquisition, sampling, education, product demonstrations, and supporting distributor sales teams.
• Demonstrate initiative by prospecting and cold-calling potential clients, assessing their suitability for our offerings, facilitating onboarding, and ensuring ongoing orders.
• Provide responsive assistance to inquiries from distributors, brokers, and end-users.
Offer product information, samples, and in-person product demonstrations.
• Manage company expenses and finances responsibly, including receipts, reports, and reimbursements.
• Timely creation and submission of scheduled reports.
• Maintain meticulous and detailed records, including notes, contact information, and daily work interactions.
• Proficiently utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Google, and various desktop and mobile software.
• Making initial contact with potential customers and building a rapport.
• Improve sales and overall business growth withing assigned territory • Present effectively to individuals and groups, demonstrating product use and educating customers and teams.
• Display willingness to learn about new product lines and actively promote and sell them.
• Interact with customers such as restaurateurs, chefs, owners, club and restaurant managers, cooks, purchasers, food and beverage directors, distributors, salespeople, sales managers, broker representatives, and more.
• Oversee and manage customer relationships, including end-users, distributors, and brokers.
• Stay informed about the marketplace, competitors, and share findings with the team.
• Identify and establish connections with new customer opportunities, opening qualified accounts.
• Excel at independent and efficient work.
• Exemplify trustworthiness and accountability.
• Professionally and personally represent the brand through continuous marketing efforts.
Compensation: • Compensation includes a base salary plus commissions, • Total compensation, combining base salary and commissions, ranges from $75,000 to $95,000 per annum, contingent on experience and capabilities paid out weekly.
