We're seeking one roommate to move into a large Victorian House on 10th St in Santa Monica, available now! The rent is $1350 per month.
The lease term is 1 year though shorter terms will be considered.
One month security and first-month lease payment are due up front.
Ideally we’re looking to have the room filled by January 1st, so if you’re looking for a potential move in date anytime after January 1st be sure to include that in your initial message.
We can't accept couples or have any pets, sorry.
The house is a 6 bed 4 bath 3800 square foot victorian manor.
It underwent some major renovations just before we moved in and now has central air, central heat, copper piping, etc.
so the house may be over 100 years old but everything is up to code and updated within the last few years.
The common areas are fully furnished.
Furniture includes a large custom sized circular couch with a 25 ft perimeter, a 65" tv, a projector and screen, a high speed mesh wifi system, an in home bar, private front lawn, ample outdoor furniture across 3 different outdoor seating areas, grill, etc.
The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, spices, and pretty much anything else you might need.
Brand new washer and dryer are in the house and free to use.
The room is a second story space with a beautiful view.
The room is on the smaller side, but it has a unique shape that has a perfect spot for setting up a desk nook, and another spot perfect for setting up any sized bed.
It has a closet and shares a bathroom, though the house has multiple bathrooms to use if a bathroom is occupied.
The room is unfurnished.
There's permitted street parking directly in front of the house which always has spots available.
I've never had to park more than 3 houses down when parking in front.
The house lease also includes 3 private parking spots that you may be able to use.
The house is in a great location near everything on the Westside.
10 blocks to the beach, a 5 minute drive to Downtown Santa Monica, an 8 minute drive to Venice, and a 3 block drive to the 10 freeway entrance on Lincoln to get anywhere else.
There will be a total of 5 roommates plus yourself.
With this many rooms it's a social place, but the house is big enough where even with 6 roommates there's plenty of space for privacy.
The average age in the house is about 31 and the current roommates work jobs in tech, aerospace, speech pathology, and neurology.
The most recent gender ratio in the house was 4 guys / 2 girls.
We're definitely open for either a girl or a guy to move in.
The best way to describe the type of person we're looking for is "chill".
Someone who is down to earth, straight forward, respectful, and doesn't take everything too seriously but is serious when it matters.
With this many rooms it's a social place.
We need someone who can get along with everyone and who's down to hang out, but also someone who is respectful of everyone else and makes sure to be courteous with the noise levels, cleans up after themselves, and doesn't want to have people over every single night.
