Overview:
Do you enjoy counting money? Parkwest is looking a Countroom Cashier to assist in the operation of the Countroom and works closely with the Security Department regarding the drop box pull by performing the following duties either personally or through subordinate team members.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the accuracy and security of the counts in the Drop Box.
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
Performs Cage Chip runs to Satellite, Pavilion, Gold Room and Pai Gow windows.
Ensures that the security of the Countroom is maintained at all times.
Performs shredding when assigned by a Cage Supervisor.
Collects racks for the count at the beginning of the shift or as needed.
Monitors equipment needs of the Countroom and recommends repair or replacement as necessary.
Ensures that work area is maintained in a safe work environment.
Must be available to work any shift including weekends, holidays, on call and overtime when needed.
Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred; and a minimum of one (1) year cash handling experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Banking or casino experience preferred but not required.
Ability to use a 10-key adding machine/ Calculator.
Finish
Open availability to work Day, Swing or Graveyard.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge or license.
Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.
S.
Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.
