I am a 41 year old male looking for a room for rent, preferably with other Christian men (similar age or young at heart).
I am in recovery, but other people's non-alcoholic type drinking won't bother me.
I go to CR, NA, GA, church, and church related groups regularly.
I'm looking for a place with a few hopes in mind.
1) I hope for guys that will be encouraging and supportive.
2) A place where I could potentially set up my samplers and studio monitors in my room (see picture).
Other musicians in the space could be a plus.
3) I would like to live with people who are ok with a guy who is on a fixed income, but is actively working towards becoming independent of government assistance.
4) I need my own room.

if I didn't mind sharing a room, then I would probably look for a sober living/recovery home.

The monthly rent can't be more than $900-$1000.
If it's the right fit, I can even afford to pay for 6+ months in advance.
I grew up in Pasadena, and currently live with my Dad and Mom in a historic home in Ontario.
I am clean, respectful, and usually very active.
I have references, if needed, and don't have a set time that I would like to move in by, or a set time that I would need to rent.
I am on probation and have only to check in online on e every 3 months.
I mention this because, though the terms of my probation are loose, an officer very well may come to visit and make sure that there are no drugs, guns, etc.
I have turned my life around completely from that of an addict, and plan on maintaining that.
I have 18 months of no drugs or alcohol, and am currently in the process of gaining strength to remove nicotine from my life, too.
I do have a car.
