I'm looking to trade help in exchange for a private room + private bathroom with a nice family, or just nice, respectful people in general.
I am a single female, no kids, no pets, and enjoy quiet and privacy, so there'll be no overnight guests or anything like that.
No loud music or loud anything either.
I don't do drugs, drink or smoke.
I'm very efficient, can multi-task and will get things done.
I'm also very clean and like to take care of the things I use, so I will take care of your things if I am living at your house.
I am very considerate and respect boundaries, looking for the same.
I am computer literate (familiar with MS Programs and interested in coding, so I'm more than willing to learn if you need someone for that), do freelance writing, have a background in fine arts (pencil and charcoal are my favorite mediums), great with kids and love to cook.
Help I can give includes home office duties, e-commerce, writing, art+craft/artist assistance, meal prep/cooking, light housekeeping of common areas like kitchen and living room, babysitting, pet-sitting, light caregiving and running errands.
I have my own car, a valid DL and a clean driving record.
I also have a child car seat in my car, if you need help with picking up the kids.
I have a part-time remote job (that needs WiFi access), but it is not enough to afford rent.
I'm also recovering from a medical procedure to correct a temporary disability for the past 5 years, so while I am cleared to return to most normal activities, I hesitate to bend down and lift heavy objects.
Therefore, I can't lift someone from the floor if they fall at night, but I can be there to call for help.
Need to be upfront with this to ensure we are on the same page.
This would be a good fit if you have a spare room and don't need the rent, but are an artist or have a business that requires home-office help, or you are/have a senior who is still somewhat independent and doesn't require full-time or personal care, but would appreciate help at home and a presence in the house in case of any emergencies.
This is not a handout, so please don't treat me badly, talk down to me or use me as an emotional punching bag.
