We are a senior couple looking for housing for our current caregiver.
She has been on a live-in-exchange with us for more than two years and has been helping us with meal prep, cooking, grocery shopping and chores around the house that we are unable to get to.
It's an easy and flexible exchange as we don't need personal care and are still fairly independent, but unfortunately, we are starting to fall quite a bit and she is unable to lift us up due to a recovering medical procedure.
Otherwise, she is quite mobile.
She is very clean, responsible, a good cook, and very diligent in doing her exchange.
She is also quiet, has no kids or pets, and doesn't smoke, drink, or do drugs.
She is very computer literate and has a remote, part-time job, but it is not enough to afford rent in this skyrocketing rental market.
This would be a good fit if you are or you have a senior lady who is still somewhat independent, but would appreciate some help around the house.
Or the exchange can be with a nice family who needs help with babysitting.
Looking for a private room and private bath for her in a safe environment with nice, decent people.
We have a new caregiver who is able to lift heavy weights arriving at the beginning of Mar, and we thought we should jump in and help our current live-in look for a place to live since she has had no luck looking for housing.
