61 year old female looking room (Long Beach, CA)

I am looking for a room for my 61 year old sister who has recently resituated into Southern Cal.
She is quiet, kind, respectful, religious, and a good conversationalist--never married, no drinking/drugs, not LGBTQ.
I hope to get her in affordable senior living when she qualifies at 62, unless this housing works out.
Ideally, this would be in a house or apartment, furnished or not, with an older (40+?) female.
No males.
She has a two-year-old goldendoodle, but will allow me to put it up for fostering or adoption if a right housing fit arrives.
By foot or bus, she should have access to the downtown Senior Center.
I will be in charge of all the steps in the process, so no scams.
