Engineer looking for house in Torrance/Manhattan Beach/Rolando (Torrance)

Hi I'm looking for a place to live for the next 6mo-2yrs.
I'm an electrical engineer who just got a job up near LAX and I am looking for a place to live.
I am looking to pay up to 1400/1500 if the place is nice enough but hoping for around 1100-1250.
I am focusing on work as I am early in my career just out of college and am looking for a friendly, quiet, private space.
I prefer doing my own furnishing and setup to make the room a bit of an office with a bed but I am open to most offers.
Pets are fine but I would need them away from my room and not a distraction.
I would strongly prefer a private bed/bath and like more recently built houses (2000's+).
I am fine with multiple roommates as long as I have my own private space.
If you are looking for someone to mostly be either out working/out with friends or quietly at home sleeping/on my computer, I'm your guy.
I care a lot about the area being as low crime I can get as well.
I have a small car which I would prefer not parking on the street but if the area is fine street parking is fine.
Please send pictures of the space and bathroom, as well as important info about the rest of the living situation.
Earlier is better.
I start this Friday and am hoping to have this settled within two weeks if possible.
