Hey! So I'll be straightforward with you, I have poor credit.
I had surprise medical bills that caught me and my banks off guard and my credit cards went delinquent for a bit.
Medical bills have since been paid and credit accounts no longer delinquent.
.
.
but the poor credit score remains.
My plan is to find an affordable place (much cheaper than my current $2000+ apartment) that will allow me to pay off my bills, rebuild my savings and credit score, etc.
I am self employed, mainly contracted as a Producer for film and video games but due to a slow hiring season (and many layoffs in my industry) I'm a delivery driver in the mean time.
Currently seeking:
• Roommate or Studio or 1-bedroom or ADU
• Rent: Ideally $900 or less, negotiable depending on what's included
• Location: Burbank or nearby neighborhoods, also negotiable but ideally the rush-hour drive to Burbank isn't soul crushing 😅
• Just me (37, male).
No pets.
Otherwise good background check and clean rental history.
As you probably can tell, I'm just trying to avoid homelessness.
My rent is too high, my credit is too low, my lease ends soon, and I'm looking for realistic living options before I'm forced to consider living in a hostel or out of my car.
Any leads are appreciated, thanks!
totally unrelated: I have an LLC and if you happen to own an office space that *cough cough* may or may not have a shower somewhere in or near the building, I may be interested.
