- suburban home in a decent area (nothing rural, no shacks, and no weird locations such as being next to freeways, parking lots, commercial buildings, or a very busy avenue)
- Apartments and Condominiums are fine
- Nothing older than 1950
- Not listed anywhere online
- The home does NOT have to be in bad shape if the owner is willing to sell, though it helps if it needs work
