The Leasing Consultant is expected to drive and retain revenue for the properties and motivate those around them to do so as well.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develops full knowledge of application information required to screen a prospective resident Maintains exceptional standards of the leasing office, tour path, and model apartments.
Review unit turns requirements with the supervisor prior to move-in.
Completes final inspection of apartments before new move-ins and completes move-in paperwork with new residents as well as stays involved with move out procedures.
Provides exceptional service to customers, vendors, and colleagues.
Answers and reports all daily leasing traffic and phone calls.
Coordinates the rent collection and maintains a report Implement print, internet, and outreach marketing.
Manages lead base via CRM software and completes guest cards.
Generates reports all property tours in a daily fashion.
Adheres to company approved attire.
Responsible for managing all leasing paperwork by lease start date.
Meets or exceed leasing goals set Shops competitive properties Assists with company-sponsored resident events.
Implements Resident Retention plan.
Promotes and participates in Company-sponsored training programs and ensures the participation of all maintenance staff as required.
Complies with all company's guides, policies, and procedures, including safety rules and regulations, and all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Shows the willingness and ability to perform all duties of a leasing consultant to the benefit of the property.
Completes all training provided by the company with regards to accounting, fair housing, marketing, leasing, customer service, etc.
Performs other duties are required.
What You Bring.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others.
Basic level knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management effectively and sensitively.
Sensitivity to confidential matters is required.
Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
Ability to relay technical concerns with adequate detail, quickly, and accurately.
Capability to read, write, comprehend, and converse in English.
Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, and key track system.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance is required.
Must comply with all safety requirements.
Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity, and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment.
