About The Role: Provides senior technical and operational direction for the development of policies, procedures and standards for the CBRE Engineering service practice.
Oversees engineering operations within a geographic area and/or assigned product specialty.
Consults with clients directly or as part of a team to provide advise on technical/capital projects, programs or strategies.
What You'll Do: - Provide guidance to Market Leaders in assigned region or product specialty including assistance with identification of talent, succession planning and oversight.
- Provide recommendations for strategic and tactical planning as it relates to the physical infrastructure, or those patterns of component or system failures that should be reviewed across the region.
- Develop strategic programs to ensure compliance with life safety programs and procedures.
- Consult with Market Leaders and local engineering leaders in the planning, budgeting and control of operating and capital expenditures.
- Support local, regional, or national new business development efforts.
- Develop process improvement and/or safety standard methodologies.
- Ensure the delivery of accuracy, timely, and complete reports.
- Monitor, oversees and supports all safety programs.
- Recommend and direct alterations, maintenance and reconditioning of properties.
- Provide formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.
- Mentor and coach team members to further develop competencies.

- Master's Degree preferred 10+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Professional designations such as SMA, SMT, CFM, CHFM, CHSP, CHEP, CEM preferred.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents.
- Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics.
- Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
- Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
- Manage the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area, or product type.
- Lead and support staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet.
- Solid understanding of asset management, property management, leasing, disposition, and construction.

The salary range for the position is $190,000-$215,000.
The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
