We are looking to hire a new on-site manager preferably a couple to manage the daily tasks for a 9 unit building located in East Hollywood and act as a Maintenance Dispatcher for 7 buildings.
The ideal candidate should have prior on-site property management experience: handling maintenance requests, daily activities, leasing units and meeting with vendors and contractors.
It’s a great opportunity for the right couple or individual.
Looking for someone to start in the beginning of December.
Candidates should be self-starters, be able to prioritize and motivated.
Must be able to use a computer, scanner, keep good records and have strong oral & written communication skills.
Job Responsibility:
- Collect rent from tenants and bring it to our office.
Fill out a rent log and keep track of rent collected.
Good people skills and able to work with management to resolve any issues is
a must.
- Direct the operations of the apartment community to provide a quality living environment for residents and maintain
high occupancy.
- Receive and reply to e-mails, texts, and phone calls from tenants.
Schedule and handle repair requests & deal with
other complaints in a timely manner.
- -Schedule and meet with vendors, contractors, and inspectors.
- -Inspect contractors/vendors work.
- -Cleaning and Maintenance work may be required.
- -Take care of daily activities at the property and preform walkthroughs at the property a minimum of 3 times a
week.
- Be available for lease showings daily and open houses on weekends, be able to close the deals, when there is an
empty unit.
- Move tenants in and move out,
- Deliver notices; when necessary and provide additional support to the Management Company as needed.

- A positive attitude and good people skills.
- Self-motivated and able to get things done in a timely manner.
- Basic computer skills, emails, files and record keeping, etc.
- Able to focus and think ahead, follow through, and meet deadlines.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, good organization skills and the ability to multitask.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented.
- Prior Leasing Experience of Apartment units a plus
- Must have reliable transportation.
Compensation:
Partial rent credit, in a renovated 1 bedroom apartment.
There may be additional compensation depending on the workload and experience.
Leasing bonuses provided.
