*Role Description*
Mosaic seeks a highly motivated Leasing Agent that will market and lease our properties to optimize occupancy while maximizing leased rent.
*Ideal Candidates*
* Highly organized and detail-oriented
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* IT literate - experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Personal characteristics: motivated, positive attitude, self-starter, problem solver, resourceful
* Previous experience as a leasing agent is preferred.
Experience in student housing is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Appfolio is a plus.
* Must have a reliable vehicle to get to and from tours.
*Compensation*
Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.
*Responsibilities*
Basic job duties include but are not limited to:
* Conducting all functions necessary to obtain leases, including making tour appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, overseeing the cleanliness of the properties and curb appeal of the property, and vigorous follow-up of leads
* Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios and work to achieve and exceed budgeted occupancy percentages
* Assists with the design of advertisements for periodicals, direct mailers, follow up letters, telemarketing campaigns, in-house programs, etc.
* Greeting, qualifying, showing and closing prospective residents
* Verifying applications and notifying applicants of approval or denial
* Complete follow-up of all rental inquiries
* Preparing move-in packages and lease paperwork
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competition
* Assist with market surveys as needed
* Assist with planning and hosting of resident events
* Perform after-hours duties as needed (i.
e.
, attend student functions, PR events, etc.
)
