Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the management and operations of our properties around Los Angeles.
As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maximizing occupancy rates.
Duties
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and conflicts in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, including scheduling contractors and overseeing work quality
- Manage rent collection process, including issuing invoices, tracking payments, and following up on late payments
- Maintain accurate records of property expenses, income, and tenant information through data entry
- Collaborate with legal professionals to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to property management
- Build strong relationships with tenants through excellent customer service and effective communication
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in property management
- Knowledge of property management principles, practices, and local laws
- Excellent customer relationship management skills to provide exceptional service to tenants
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and report generation
- Basic understanding of property maintenance procedures and ability to coordinate repairs
- Familiarity with relevant software applications for property management is a plus (Appfolio, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.
)
