This is a shot in the dark but shouting into the void here.
Yesterday on April 2nd, I was walking on N Sepulveda around 8:30am and saw a beautiful grey dog –the collar said her name was Beasley– get hit by a car and I held her as she took her last breath.
Animal control and the dog sitter came by and got her off of the sidewalk, but in my state of shock and disbelief, I never got the dogsitter's name, nor did I memorize the owner's phone number or name.
If you're out there, or you know a dog in MB by the name of Beasley, I'd love to get in touch with the owner just so they know she absolutely was not in any pain, and that someone was there while she passed.
AND that they know someone is continuously calling every building on the block to see if they have cameras because the car that hit her sped off without stopping.
