I’m a 34 year old drummer, currently living in the Bay Area - but am looking to move back to LA in the coming months.
I currently play in a touring/recording punk band with a following who are based in Long Beach, as well as a couple other projects here in the Bay Area.
I’ve played on and off in touring/recording bands for 15 years.
Looking to join something that’s pretty fully formed and functioning already.
Ideally, we’d be at least playing shows not soon after me joining.
I play professional gear, big, loud dw drums and zildjian k cymbals, and I hit really hard.
I can play to a click if needed, but would really prefer to not have to do that live.
I come from a mostly punk, indie, alt rock background, but Im interested to hear what’s out there.
I have a pretty wide musical palette.
Wont play any softer though, sorry.
I also won’t consider responding without at least a demo submitted.
If I don’t reply, I’m not interested.
Please don’t take it personally, and just continue doing what you’re doing.
It probably rules, I just don’t see it as a fit.
