I’m a vocal coach working with artists/producers/writers, broadway and studio performers and hobbyists ages 12 and up.
I have a private studio in Westwood capable of studio recordings for auditions, demos and vocal production.
USC Thornton School of Music graduate, and perform Music Director duties for mainstream and musical theater recordings and performances.
Most of my students are preparing for some kind of professional opportunity – showcase, audition, commercial demo, studio record, band they’re developing etc.
I see myself as an accelerator – sharpening whatever will most improve a singer’s competitiveness, success and confidence the fastest through fundamentals (breathing, tone, pitch, vibrato control, registers, dynamics, projection etc) and artistry (creating a unique and authentic sound and style with the material).
I’m both supportive and challenging and provide feedback on what is required for success based on years working in top studios in Los Angeles, broadway performances and with managers, agents, film directors and music producers.
Through February I’m offering an initial online class at no charge for new students curious about how they can improve their singing with a professionally oriented approach.
Our first lesson would be based around these elements and you would have a recording of it at the end.
My approach is not for everyone, but this would be a good opportunity to see if it’s a good match for both sides.
