I am an established producer/mixing engineer that feels very lucky to have a career in music, and this holiday season, I'd like to give back by offering free professional mixing of one song to an artist that normally wouldn't be able to afford this.
For this submission I will only be taking shoegaze, dream pop, and similar genres.
The submission process will be simple - please email me a little bit about yourself/your project, along with any music (can be demos, and doesn't have to be the song you want to be mixed).
By the end of the month, I will take all the names that submit and pass my criteria, and put them into a random online lottery system to pick the winner.
I will post a private YouTube video that shows this lottery so you know I'm not manipulating it, and will also put your name in anonymously (just using initials or something) to protect everyone who applies.
Please do not submit if you're on a label that provides budget, or if you have decent income yourself ($70k plus per year?) or parents who fund your music/help you pay rent.
I really want this to just go to somebody who normally would not have the means to be able to get their music professional mixed and produced.
I'm going to do this on the honor system and trust that nobody is going to exploit this, please don't make me regret it.

I've been playing, recording, and producing music for almost 20 years.
For the past 12 years I've been in a band that is on a label, tours (have played with The Jesus and Mary Chain, Blonde Redhead, DIIV, The Raveonettes, No Joy, Young Prisms, etc) and has a steady stream of TV placements.
Artists I've done production work for include Tamaryn, House of Harm, Fearing, Death Bells, Topographies, Second Still, Draag, and more.
