Join our jazz bands in bringing magical holiday music to sick and lonely NURSING HOME PATIENTS.
We perform mainly the classic Christmas jazz standards that literally take these very old and sick people (most of them have Alzheimers) back in time.
It is an amazing thing to witness the reactions of these very needy people when we play this happy, familiar music for our elders and super elders.

We often experience miracles when we're perform songs like "white Christmas", "Have yourself a
Merry Little Christmas, The Christmas Song, Winter Wonderland, Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree, Let it Snow, Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree, Jingle Bell Rock and other tunes that are somehow locked away in the memories of people who sometimes can't remember anything else from their past.
Sometimes they don't even remember their own names.
To see someone literally light up when we're playing a familiar tune from a Christmas decades ago is an experience that will fill you with joy.
Those moments will stay with you forever.
We are looking for skilled musicians and singers (almost all the people in this group are people who perform professionally).
Talented amateurs are appreciated as well.
We usually end up with a band consisting of bass, drums, guitar, keyboard, saxophone and singers.
QUALITY entertainment.
Our holiday shows are usually on weekends in December leading up to Christmas.
They are in the mornings or afternoons.
This is a volunteer effort but we can come up with gas money if needed.
Our groups are usually guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, sax or trumpet and a male and female singer.
The one element that is often missing is brass.
There is nothing that says Christmas like the magical sound of brass.
The areas we perform in will be largely based on where our volunteers are willing to travel to.
We already have requests from nursing homes in the metro LA area, the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys and we hope to get to all of them.
This is NOT amateur hour entertainment.
We want to do a high quality show in honoring our elders from The Greatest Generation.
