Glass Cannon is a band, best described as rock, that combines progressive & underground influences across all guitar-based music in a synthesis with pop songwriting.
We aim to create great art that strikes a balance between the familiar and the novel.
The objective is to craft a sound that will revolutionize what mainstream guitar-based music can be forever.
We are seeking a guitarist, any gender, preferably aged 18-26, who is capable of playing highly technical repertoire and available for rehearsals, recording, and local showcases culminating into worldwide touring.
The guitarist will be paid $100 per unit of approximately 3-4 hours of work -- i.
e.
, one rehearsal, one recording, one show.
This will persist until such a time that a division of revenue will be more profitable for them than the $100 paycheck.
Glass Cannon has management & distribution secured.
It currently consists of a vocalist/guitarist, a bassist, and a drummer.
We rehearse in Culver City.
A second guitarist is the final ingredient needed, as there are many harmonized parts.
Lead guitar duties are shared.
Ability to sing backup vocals is a big plus.
