Leedy Broadway Standard Solid Mahogany Snare Drum 14" x 5 1/4" from 1937 A beautiful warm sounding snare drum that has great feel.
Excellent in the studio and live settings.
The shell is one solid piece of steam bent Mahogany with re-rings and perfect original bearing edges.
Great condition for a 90 year old snare drum.
The White Marine Pearl wrap is tight and in excellent shape.
All nickel lugs, tension rods, and (NOB) nickel over brass hoops, function as they should.
Some scratches and pitting from age and use.
Almost all original except: heads, wires and a Gibraltar throw was used in place of it's missing throw.
It uses 2 of the original 4 holes, so there are no extra holes.
