This Fender Telecaster was bought and stored by the original owner.
Frets and condition are the best I have ever seen from 1978.
Picture of the tuner shows made in West Germany which is how to authenticate the tuners from the 70's.
Certificate is stamped and dated.
Incredible find, museum piece.
I'll hang onto it if someone doesn't buy it, these just keep going up in price.
This guitar has stayed white which is rare, since it stayed in the case.
Video coming soon, better than charvel gibson suhr tom anderson g&l taylor martin etc.
Specs below
The hardware is immaculate, tuning machines, bridge, strap pins, neck plate, input jack, even the original ash tray cover.
Each of the afore mentioned might have small indications of pitting, just the nature of being a 44 year old component.
The guitars original Fender registration card is with it, it was dated and filled out in 1983.
Also included is a 1978 sticker from the legendary Manny’s Music NYC.
It’s a safe assumption that the guitar was purchased there and the (used) sticker has remained with is as a keepsake.
This is the among the cleanest vintage guitars we’ve seen.
It’s hard to believe this instrument is 44 years old and not a reissue.
It’s been freshly set up with 9-42 strings and ships in it’s original 1978 Fender Hard Shell Case.
