1977 Yamaha "Super Combinator 800" - MIJ Rare - $650 (Hollywood Hills)

Yamaha's take on the stratocaster from the late 70's w a GREAT feeling neck.
Body is mahogany and in excellent condition.
The pickups are excellent and versitile-- a Charlie Christian style blade pickup but there are 13 combinations of tones by using the 3x3-way switches.
It has a quarter-sawn neck and a strong medullary ray that is dead even the whole way down.
Resonant in all positions.
Nice cutaway on the backside.
Tuners are excellent.
I can send you off with a gig bag if you need it or a molded Gator case for a little more.
No question between this and a (more expensive) Fender Vintera Strat.
I'd put it up against a USA Strat any day.
