Brand New! This 2023 Casino model is made true to its sixties roots for the very first time featuring brown back and sides.
Back then these reissue Chinese Casinos were made with lower quality materials and had sunburst back and sides which many would argue “cheapened” the guitar and certainly wasn’t authentic to the Beatles.
This guitar was upgraded with materials and hardware accurate to John Lennons 1965 Epiphone Casino.
For starters it’s got a foil E instead of the raised E you often see on these and it’s also got a 2 screw truss rod cover versus the smaller 3 screw version (which is included).
Additionally it’s got a black washer around the toggle switch and most special of all it has a nylon saddle bridge which is what was on all of the Beatles Epiphone Casinos.
Totally awesome and the tone is much warmer and better sounding vs that metal-y sound you get with the original bridge (which is also included).
Intonation is dead-on and the guitar was restrung with Ernie ball slinky 11’s.
Epiphone PRO P-90 pickups are installed which have more clarity and give the guitar more bite when played with overdrive.
Comes with a very high quality gig bag to protect the guitar.
This is a very great deal considering the alternative is getting a 1965 USA John Lennon Limited Edition Casino that’s going online for a little over six grand and that doesn’t account for any additional sales fees.
