Considering selling my beloved CB.
This has been a project bike for me over the past 5 years or so.
Lots of new parts, and very little riding in that time.
Some of the main things that I can remember doing:
- Wheels trued and balanced, new tubes and tires, wheels spray painted black
- Forks seals and fluid replaced.
Swapped out fork ears, painted and new dust boots fitted for more moto look.
- New throttle and brake cables, fuel lines, petcock, fuel filters, etc.
- New spark plugs, cables, battery (also have new ignition points that have not yet been installed)
- New levers, handlebar mounts and isolators, handerbars, and grips
- New shifter lever and new footpads
- Replaced centerstand with earlier version that works without stock exhaust in place
- Carbs rebuilt, new intake boots, new K&N filters
- New HD shocks
- New tapered steering tube bearings
- New clutch (metal as well as cork clutch components and spring)
- Have new uninstalled brake shoes and various parts.
- CL350 pipes (used, repaired a few leaks, and wrapped in exhaust wrap) with new mufflers.
- Custom rear fender from another model bike, polished and mounted with custom tail light and blinker resistor.
- Front fender cut down.
- Various new stainless hardware around engine cases, various gaskets, rubber pieces, chrome polished, etc.
It's not perfect, and could still use some attention, but runs good and has a unique look.
Have some various news parts that I will provide with the bike.
Can include a free hitch hauler to carry it on the back of a car.
