$10k price reduction (10/29/23) Now asking $139k I just spent 7 days at Two Harbors on this boat.
Went there for the annual Buccaneer Days weekend! 1997 Sea Ray 400 Sundancer with CAT 3116 diesel engines, Westerbeke genset, air conditioning, new canvas, dinghy and davit, new bottom paint and much more!! Owner’s plans have changed, so a great opportunity is available for a lucky new owner to own this beautiful Sea Ray 400 Sundancer.
This boat was purchased in April of 2022 from the original owner who had owned the boat for 25 years.
The current owner is one of my best friends and I helped him buy this boat and bring it up to MdR from Long Beach.
He lives out of state, but comes to LA once or twice a month for work, so I manage and take care of the boat for him while he's away.
This boat is one of the nicest Sea Ray 400s out there.
Super clean inside and out and absolutely turn-key.
Island-ready! Many of these 400 Sundancers come with Gas Engines, but this one has the more desirable diesel engines which give you more reliability, durability, and fuel efficiency.
As nice as the boat was when he bought it, it still needed much overdue engine, bottom, and various cosmetic work to get it to where it is now.
Over $40,000 has been invested in this boat in the last year.
Nearly $20,000 on various engine, genset and misc.
engine room work: - New raw water pumps and raw water hoses - New transmission coolers - New diesel fuel coolers - Flush-out cooling system - Complete fuel/oil/filter changes on main engines, transmissions & genset - New thermostats, belts and misc hoses on main engines and genset - All new hoses on genset - New heat exchanger on genset - New bilge pumps - New freshwater pump - All new sanitation hoses $12,000 at the Boatyard getting all necessary bottom work completed.
- New bottom paint - New shaft seals (Tides Marine, Dripless) - New cutlass bearings - Props removed; straightened and dynamic balanced at prop shop - New swimstep support brackets - New davit support brackets - New Lumitec blue/white underwater LED lights (x5) $3000 on new canvas and all new Macralon window panels.
$3000 on renewing the entire audio/video system aboard with 2 new flat screen TVs and a Fusion stereo system with all new speakers, subwoofer and amplifiers.
This is one of the loudest boats I’ve heard with clear, sharp audio.
$4000 on a brand new 2022 Yamaha 20hp outboard motor for the RIB.
$1500 for all new cockpit flooring.
